This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of our calendar - the first edition of the American Nameday Calendar of First Names was published here in the United States back in 1982.
Still, the calendar's 25th anniversary may very well be, as the popular slogan goes:

"THE WORLD's BEST KEPT SECRET",
25th Anniversary

In any event, the calendar Americanized the centuries old popular European tradition of celebrating first names in the same manner as birthdays are celebrated.

Just like in the past few years, our 2007 website contains 3 FREE online versions:
1. The months of the "Quick View" version, clickable on the very top of the page, open instantly. These months include all the names on their namedays, but not holidays and moon phases, nor the "Notables" (basis for namedays).
2. The monthly pages of the "Conventional" version can be viewed and downloaded from the left side column. They do include holidays and moon phases, but not the names of the "Notables" on whom namedays are based.
Suitable for those who prefer the "plain" calendar.
Please note that this version is in PDF -form (the file sizes vary from 86KB to 147KB), therefore, you need to have Adobe®Reader®) software installed in your computer. You can download it for FREE from www.adobe.com.
3. The months of "Main" online version include the names and corresponding dates of all those "Notables" in religion and American history on whom most of our namedays are based.   The 12 months of this version also include Holidays and Moon Phases. These pages are also PDF -form - the file sizes vary from 246KB to 440KB, therefore, depending on your Internet connection speed, it may take a few moments for each page to open.
When viewing these pdf files, click on the symbol (zoom in) on the Adobe Reader's tool bar to enlarge the page to the desired size.
In fact, you can enlarge these pages to almost any size.
Then, when you press the "hand" symbol, and place the pointer over the page, the pointer changes to a hand which, with the left mouse button held down, becomes a closed hand crabbing the page, letting you to drag the page up and down, and to any direction you wish to move.

Important:
If you want to print, remember to set your printer's page layout to "Landscape",
and click on the print icon on Adobe toolbar rather than that on your browser.
If your printer does not have the "borderless" printing option (unable to print all the
way to the edge of a paper), or if you just want to save ink, click HERE for the same
monthly pages, but without colored borders.
You can also save color ink by using "draft" (or "fast") setting of your printer options,
and/or by printing pages in either a grayscale or B&W.

(Before downloading and printing, please read the copyright notice on the bottom of this page.)

However, if you prefer not to have the "basis" for namedays shown in the calendar,
as mentioned earlier, there is also another, "conventional" version of the 2007 edition.
To view any month of that version, select it from the list on the left side column.

To illustrate the difference between the two versions, we show an example below.

As an example of how significant a family tradition celebrating namedays can be, below we show a part of the then 7 years old student's poster "My Family's History", displayed on the wall of his classroom a few years ago.
